The Seattle Seahawks will kick off the 2024 NFL season with a pair of winnable games against the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots, but the schedule gets much tougher from Weeks 3-6. The team has back-to-back games against the Miami Dolphins and Detroit Lions before a critical Thursday Night Football showdown against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 6.

The 49ers have dominated this NFC West rivalry in recent years, winning five straight games by at least eight points. Seattle will look to end the streak in 2024 with a little help from the uniform gods. On Wednesday, the Seahawks announced the individual themes for each home game on the schedule and will officially wear their throwback uniforms in Week 6 against San Francisco.

Seattle has not defeated the 49ers since they acquired running back Christian McCaffrey at the 2022 NFL trade deadline. Perhaps a new head coach and change in philosophy will give the Seahawks the advantage they need to finally get a win over Kyle Shanahan's club in 2024.
