The Seahawks not only hosted Chase Claypool on Tuesday, but they also brought in an offensive lineman. The Seahawks hosted Ike Boettger on a visit per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Boettger went undrafted out of the University of Iowa in 2018 where he signed with the Buffalo Bills. He played six games at tackle with the Bills in his first two years before playing in 27 games (17 starts) at left guard before suffering an Achilles injury at the end of 2021 which limited him to six snaps in 2022.

He spent the 2023 season with the Indianapolis Colts but only appeared in two games with just eight special teams snaps. He would help fortify the interior of the line with flexibility to kick outside if need be. That is important for all backup offensive lineman.
