The Seattle Seahawks are off to a hot start this year and are heading into a big Week 4 matchup with the Detroit Lions with a perfect 3-0 record. Injuries can do in even the best teams around the NFL, but right now these Seahawks look like they're good enough to make a deep playoff run for the first time since 2015.
Head coach Mike Macdonald's defensive genius is the biggest reason, but the team's best athletes are also leading the trend, as cornerback Riq Woolen and star wide receiver DK Metcalf have both gotten off to a sensational beginning in 2024.
Here's what ESPN commentator and former NFL punter Pat McAfee had to say about DK and these undefeated Seahawks following Sunday's 24-3 win over the Miami Dolphins.

Metcalf had a brutal matchup to begin the season against Denver Broncos star corner Patrick Surtain II, who held him to just three catches and 29 yards. Since then DK has been on fire, though. Over the last two games Metcalf has totaled 14 catches, 233 yards and two touchdowns.
Next up on the schedule are the Detroit Lions, who Metcalf has matched up with pretty well against. Last year DK caught all six of his targets against them, totaling 75 yards. In their meeting the season before that, Metcalf went off for 149 yards on seven receptions.
