The Pittsburgh Steelers and Dallas Cowboys were slated to begin their "Sunday Night Football" contest in Week 5 at 8:20 p.m. ET, but thanks to some inclement weather passing through, that won't happen.
With rain, thunder and lightning in the area, the league has decided to push the start of the game back for the safety of fans, which is the normal course of action when storms are in the area.
Unfortunately for those fans who have to get up in the morning but want to watch the game, the night is now going to run a bit later. However, it's more important that fans and players at the game are safe.
"We are currently in a weather delay until further notice," a statement read. "Fans in the stadium can remain in the seating bowl. We will provide further updates when available."

According to the latest look at the radar, per The Athletic's Mike DeFabo, the storm could let up as early as 9 p.m. ET, but there's also a chance that the storm could be in the area until 9:30 p.m. ET or so.
Here's the @accuweather radar. Looks like it starts to let up around 9 but weather could be in the area till around 9:30 or so. Once this band is out of the area, we should be good for the night. https://t.co/8cTZzNfdrm pic.twitter.com/UCJrQLRYhr
