The Pittsburgh Steelers and Dallas Cowboys released their final injury reports of the week ahead of their Week 5 game at Acrisure Stadium on Sunday night, and a total of six players have been ruled out, and another four are questionable between the two teams.
For the Steelers, Russell Wilson failed to log a single full practice once again, instead turning in three limited sessions before drawing a questionable tag. Of course, it was likely Justin Fields would have remained the starter even if Wilson was healthy enough to play after Pittsburgh's 3-1 start with Fields at the helm.
Pittsburgh is very thin at the running back position, as both Cordarrelle Patterson and Jaylen Warren have been ruled out. Najee Harris and Aaron Shampklin are the only healthy running backs on the active roster, so look for the Steelers to elevate either Jonathan Ward or La'Mical Perine, or perhaps even both.
Also ruled out is outside linebacker Alex Highsmith, who suffered a groin injury in Week 3. Highsmith is reportedly expected to be out one more game after this one before he returns in Week 7.
Want some good news, Steelers fans? Guard Isaac Seumalo will make his return to the field in Week 5 after a pectoral injury kept him out the first four games. That's great news in the wake of the team losing James Daniels for the season.
The Cowboys have their own injury concerns, and specifically on defense. Trevon Diggs popped up on the injury report on Thursday and did not practice on Friday before drawing a questionable tag. Micah Parsons has also been ruled out, which comes on the heels of the team placing DeMarcus Lawrence on injured reserve.
