In a recent poll of NFL players, the Pittsburgh Steelers' visiting locker room did not get a good review, with one player saying it smells like a certain bodily fluid.
The poll was done by The Athletic's Mike Jones, who surveyed players on a bunch of different questions, one of which pertained to which road trip was the least favorite among those asked.
The Steelers received 4.1% of the 98 votes cast for that subject, which was tied for the seventh-highest percentage — and one player noted that he voted for Pittsburgh because the locker room smells like "piss."
“I would say Pittsburgh, because it smells like piss in their locker room,” the player said.
Talk about a home-field advantage...
But that wasn't the only gripe players had. Another one admitted that Pittsburgh is his "vibe," but he added that the weather is a downer.
“Pittsburgh. Even though it’s my vibe: tough," the player said. "It’s just always gray and s—ty weather there."
That wasn't the only place the Steelers were mentioned. When asked which non-quarterback they would start a team with, 6.3% of players said star edge rusher T.J. Watt, who was the sixth-most popular response in the poll.
The only players to receive more votes than Watt were Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson, Cleveland Browns edge rusher Myles Garrett and Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons.
Another question pertained to the best field surface in the NFL, where Acrisure Stadium received a few votes.
