The Pittsburgh Steelers and Las Vegas Raiders have released their inactives ahead of their 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff on Sunday at Allegiant Stadium and for the first time this season, both quarterback Russell Wilson and rookie wide receiver Roman Wilson are active.
The veteran quarterback missed the first five games of the season due to a calf injury, which allowed fellow signal-caller Justin Fields to get an opportunity to start after Wilson was named the starter ahead of Week 1.
Even though he's healthy and active, Wilson will not start under center, head coach Mike Tomlin revealed during the week. However, if Fields struggles, Wilson could get the football sooner rather than later.
As far as the other Wilson is concerned, the rookie is active for the first time this year, also. The Michigan product suffered an ankle injury early in training camp that forced him to miss a ton of time. After being a healthy scratch the last few weeks, he will finally get a chance to play.
In Las Vegas, the Raiders are going to be without their top-two receivers in Jakobi Meyers and Davante Adams. Adams is dealing with a hamstring injury that forced him to miss multiple games already, but he may have played his last snap with the Raiders after requesting a trade.
Las Vegas will now hope tight end Brock Bowers and wide receiver Tre Tucker can step up with Adams and Meyers out.
