Eagles Isaiah Rodgers shares powerful message on business side of NFL image

The business side of the NFL can be brutal, and we’re reminded of that fact at the end of every preseason.

Over 1,000 players, veteran and young talent alike, are let go from training camp rosters, suddenly scrambling to find a place to continue living their NFL dreams. For the majority of those players, the dream ends shortly after NFL cut-down day.

As a former sixth-round draft pick, cornerback Isaiah Rodgers of the Philadelphia Eagles knows the NFL business well. He’s worked his way back from a season-ending knee injury in 2022, and a suspension for violating the NFL's gambling policy, which led to him being waived by the team that drafted him, the Indianapolis Colts

Now locked in as a starter in the Eagles’ secondary, Rodgers posted some heartfelt words aimed at those facing an uncertain future in the NFL:

If you know anyone in the NFL today

If they made the team or didn't make the team

Man reach out to these guys and tell them how much you appreciate their hard work and effort during these times. It ain't easy

The grind, consistency, patience, sacrifice, and even the mental. 🙏🏾

Rodgers’ powerful message was well received from those who saw it on X.com. The post generated over 114,600 views as of Wednesday afternoon.
