Charles Barkley, appearing on The Mike Missanelli Show Thursday on 97.5 The Fanatic in Philadelphia, discussed everything Philly sports, from saying he wouldn’t bet on the Eagles-Packers game Friday night in Brazil to what he’d think if the Eagles, Sixers, and Phillies all failed to make deep playoff runs in their next postseasons.

He said they all had a great chance to win.

“I’ll be totally shocked, and I think you would be too, if all three of these teams did not have a deep playoff run,” said Barkley as he joined Missanelli for the 4-hour broadcast, saying at least the conference finals if not championships for all three teams.

Missanelli asked Barkley if that meant the Eagles were Super Bowl contenders.

“I do,” he said.

Barkley, who this week criticized the WNBA coverage of Caitlin Clark, saying her competitors need to get over their petty jealousness, also told The Bill Simmons Podcast ‘Zero Idea’ About the Future of ‘Inside the NBA' where he’s been since since 2000.
