Zach Mettenberger will have to look elsewhere in his quest for his first NFL win.

The Titans waived the 24-year-old quarterback Monday after he failed to lead the team to a victory in 10 starts over his first two seasons.
It would have taken a couple of injuries for Mettenberger to get another start for the Titans, with Marcus Mariota now entrenched at No. 1 and veteran Matt Cassell signed in March to serve as his backup.
Despite his issues closing the deal in Tennessee, there should be a market for the quarterback, who turns 25 in July, to fill out a roster somewhere. In 14 total games, the former sixth-round draft pick completed 208 of 345 passes (60.3 percent) for 2,347 yards with 12 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.
