It is no secret that DeMarco Murray was not a fan of Chip Kelly's offense. The highly touted free agent running back became a non-factor in the Eagles' offense under Kelly, eventually relegated to third string.

But with the Eagles organization firing Kelly before Week 17, Murray had a new lease on life, at least as far as football is concerned.

On Sunday against the Giants, Murray sent a stern message to Kelly, taking his first carry of the day 54 yards for a touchdown.

The Eagles won't be part of the playoffs, but that doesn't mean Murray and company can prove that Kelly didn't use the offensive players properly.
