CBS gave viewers — and even one of its broadcasters — all the feels with the open to its Bills vs. Cowboys Thanksgiving broadcast.

Former Bills quarterback Jim Kelly, in two minutes, took viewers through some of the toughest moments of his life, from his team's four consecutive Super Bowl losses to his son Hunter's battle with a rare, terminal disease to Kelly's own battles with cancer.

At the end, Kelly expressed his thankfulness.

The production then faded to the booth, where play-by-play man Jim Nantz had difficulty keeping things together after having watched the open. Nantz and analyst Tony Romo then haltingly wished each other's families a happy Thanksgiving.

The two were notably laid-back as they moved on to setting up the NFL's annual marquee holiday game.
