For the second time this season, the Chiefs and Dolphins meet with bizarre circumstances.
In their Week 9 meeting, the teams met at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt, Germany — a far cry from the familiar confines of either Hard Rock Stadium in Miami or Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.
While they'll be kicking off at Arrowhead for their wild card meeting, the game will be played — and broadcast — under more unique circumstances.
Let's start with the weather.

Saturday's temperature is expected to drop to minus-6 degrees by nighttime. Depending on the temperature at kickoff, this could be just the fifth game in NFL history to kickoff with sub-zero temperatures. Add in the expected wind gusts of up to 30 MPH and the wind chill will be far below the listed temperature.
The weather will be a major factor for both the Chiefs and Dolphins offenses. Will the Chiefs — already struggling with a wide receiver group that leads the NFL in drops — rely even more on Isiah Pacheco? And will the Dolphins be able to free up ex-Chief Tyreek Hill for the explosive plays that defined the team's offense?
Beyond the weather, millions of football fans will be flipping around channels on Saturday, wondering where on earth to watch it due to a historic streaming agreement. If you live outside of Miami or Kansas City, your regular NFL viewing habits won't do the trick.
Where to watch Chiefs vs. Dolphins playoff game
For the first time in NFL history, a playoff game will only be available for the national audience via streaming.
Peacock — which is owned by NBC — will carry Chiefs-Dolphins as the exclusive national broadcaster. When the wild card matchups were set, many expected Chiefs-Dolphins to end up in one of the primetime network slots for the biggest possible audience. And while Saturday's tilt still landed in one of the coveted primetime slots, the NFL threw a curveball by designating this as the exclusive Peacock game.
This is one of three games available to stream on Peacock this weekend. The streaming service will also carry the two NBC games — Browns at Texans on Saturday and then Rams at Lions on Sunday.
Does Peacock have a free trial?
Unfortunately, Peacock does not have a free trial.
Chiefs, Dolphins and Taylor Swift fans will have to fork over $5.99 and sign up for a monthly Peacock subscription, which you can cancel at any time. You can also sign up for a yearly subscription at $59.99 which gives you a slight monthly savings.

Chiefs vs. Dolphins free live streams
There is a catch.
While Peacock does not offer a free trial, the game is being shown on TV in both Kansas City (KSHB) and Miami (WTVJ). That means fans in those local markets can watch the game for free by signing up for Fubo which unlike Peacock, does offer a free seven-day trial.
What time is Chiefs vs. Dolphins playoff game?

Chiefs vs. Dolphins announcers
An NBC crew will handle the announcing duties on Peacock. Play-by-play announcer Mike Tirico — who is also calling Rams at Lion on Sunday — will be joined by game analyst Jason Garrett. Tirico's normal Sunday Night Football partner Cris Collinsworth is not on the call for this game. Kaylee Hartung will handle sideline reporting duties.
