The Minnesota Vikings aren't just a football team. They have had a resounding amount of success off the field. Roman Reigns just headlined Wrestlemania on back-to-back nights, Brock Lesnar himself has headlined multiple of the same show and Alan Page served on the state supreme court. In 2024, they added one more accolade to the list.

Vikings rally to get former WR votes on American Idol

The Vikings signed Blake Proehl out of East Carolina after the 2021 NFL draft. He spent some time on the practice squad but didn't end up getting playing time in any regular season games. He ended up retiring and started pursuing a career in music.

That journey has led Proehl to American Idol where he is starting to thrive. The voting has begun and the Vikings led the charge to rally votes for the former wide receiver.

Even Ryan Seacrest, the longtime host of American Idol got involved.

Tune in Monday night on ABC at 8 ET/7 CT to see if Proehl will advance
