Thielen's agent appears to have confirmed the deal on Instagram.
Thielen has averaged 102 catches with 1,324 yards and 6.5 touchdowns over the last two years. He made the Pro Bowl in both seasons.
He is coming off of a career-best season in which he caught 113 passes for 1,373 yards and nine touchdowns with Cousins as his quarterback.
However, the two did butt heads from time to time.
In one of the Vikings' last games of the year, the two were seen arguing on the sideline. They eventually downplayed the incident, but it was certainly an interesting interaction.
