Only two weeks remain in the USFL season and all four playoff spots remain up for grabs — and all eight teams still have a chance to punch their ticket.

Even the New Jersey Generals and Pittsburgh Maulers — both 2-6 — still have an outside shot at navigating their way into the postseason. But while the North Division falls short in the win column, the South Division picks up the slack — being home to the league's best four teams.

Unfortunately for the South, two of those teams will be going home after 10 weeks. That reality only heightens the intensity heading into the penultimate week.

Saturday, June 10

Panthers (3-5) vs. Maulers (2-6)

  • Kickoff: Noon ET
  • TV channel: Fox
  • Live stream: Fox Sports App, FoxSports.com, Fubo

Week 9 gets underway with a battle in the north between two teams that desperately need a win. The Maulers are losers of three straight, but must win to stay alive. On the other side, the Panthers dropped their last game, but still have the inside track at getting one of those two coveted spots.

Breakers (5-3) vs. Showboats (5-3)

  • Kickoff: 3 p.m. ET
  • TV channel: NBC
  • Live stream: Peacock, Fubo

It looked like the Breakers' title to lose four weeks into the season. Then they lost three straight and found a win in Week 8, but still find themselves on the outside looking in. It's been the opposite for a Showboats group that started the season 0-3 before winning five straight. The road gets much tougher for both sides with a loss which makes for a great matchup on Saturday afternoon.

Sunday, June 11

Stallions (6-2) vs. Gamblers (5-3)

  • Kickoff: 2 p.m. ET
  • TV channel: NBC
  • Live stream: Peacock, Fubo

The other two South Division teams kick off Sunday's action in Memphis and the message is the same for them: just keep winning. After eight weeks, the USFL's best record belongs to the Stallions. They have won three straight and own the best scoring offense by far. Can the Gamblers keep pace?

Stars (4-4) vs. Generals (2-6)

  • Kickoff: 7 p.m. ET
  • TV channel: Fox
  • Live stream: Fox Sports App, FoxSports.com, Fubo

Week 9 concludes with a prime-time matchup on Fox between the Stars and Generals. Neither team has enjoyed much success this season, but the Stars that currently lead the division. The last time they met it was only a three-point win for Philadelphia. New Jersey will look to play spoiler while trying to keep their own season alive in the process.
