How to watch USFL games: Full TV schedule, channels, live streams for 2023 football games on Fox, NBC channels

Fear not football fans -- the USFL is here. In an ongoing effort to transform America's No. 1 sport into a year-round event, the United States Football League (USFL) will begin play on Saturday, April 15 -- just weeks before the XFL season wraps up. 

After a 2022 season that saw the league play its regular season games exclusively in Birmingham, Alabama, the league is shifting to four sites in 2023. The eight teams will be split across sites in Detroit, Memphis, Birmingham and Canton, Ohio. 

As far as teams, fans can choose to root for the New Jersey Generals, Pittsburgh Maulers, Memphis Showboats, Philadelphia Stars, Michigan Panthers, Birmingham Stallions, Houston Gamblers or New Orleans Breakers. 

The 2023 USFL season will conclude on Saturday, July 1 with the championship game, leaving about a month until the NFL preseason begins. Four teams will make the playoffs, vying for a trophy at season's end.

How to watch the USFL in 2023

• TV Channels: NBC, Fox, FS1, USA

The USFL will have 43 games in total in 2023 -- 40 regular season games, two semifinals and a championship. Fox and NBC will split the schedule, while also having games on their other networks -- FS1 and USA. 

There are 13 primetime games on the slate and all of the action in 2023 will be played on Saturday and Sunday. 

Here is a breakdown of how many games will appear on each channel:

USFL live streams

• Live stream: Peacock, Fox Sports App, Fubo

Cord cutters who want to want the USFL can enjoy the league is a few ways. USFL 2023 schedule

The USFL schedule will look fairly similar to the XFL. It'll be a 10-week regular season, followed by two semifinal games before the championship will be played. The season opens on Saturday, April 15 and will conclude with a champion being crowned on Saturday, July 1.

USFL playoffs schedule 2023

The USFL playoffs will take place immediately after the 2023 season concludes. The first round of the playoffs will begin on Saturday, June 24 while the championship game will be held a week later on July 1.

The USFL announced that the championship game will be played at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio, just as it was in 2022. The sites that will host the semifinal matchups are yet to be determined.
