The Giants' Week 10 loss to the Jets on Sunday resulted in what was described by SNY as a "very angry looking" Giants owner John Mara.
Smile, John. You now have a top-three pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
At this point in 2019, six teams — the Bengals, Redskins, Giants, Dolphins, Jets and Falcons — and maybe more can consider their seasons lost. Yet half of those teams won their games in Week 10, a purely sweet feeling for the coaches and players for those teams but a bittersweet feeling for anybody in Miami, New York and Atlanta who is already thinking about next year's selection process.

The Bengals, meanwhile, cemented their status as the NFL's worst team Sunday when the Ryan Finley-led squad got obliterated by the division-rival Ravens. Cincinnati's top competition for the No. 1 overall pick, Washington, was idle in Week 10. The Redskins draw the Jets next week, so their tanking tactics will be put to the test.

Over the last seven weeks of the season, the Bengals will play the Raiders, Steelers, Jets, Browns, Patriots, Dolphins and Browns again. If the Jets and Dolphins teams of Week 10 are the teams that show up against Cincinnati, then chances are the Bengals will secure the No. 1 overall pick come season's end.
In Sporting News' latest mock draft, we have the Bengals selecting LSU quarterback Joe Burrow with the No. 1 overall pick. At No. 2, we have the Redskins sticking with Dwayne Haskins at QB and opting for Georgia offensive tackle Andrew Thomas.
The Giants, who before Sunday's results were slated to pick sixth overall, were connected to Alabama wide receiver Jerry Jeudy.
