KPRC 2 Houston's NFL insider Aaron Wilson reports that UCF wide receiver Javon Baker is scheduled to visit with the Atlanta Falcons this week. The New England Patriots, Minnesota Vikings, Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers are all expected to have Baker on a visit.
Standing 6'1" and 202 pounds, Baker uses his solid frame and outstanding body control to make exciting catches along the sideline and down the field. Baker has the speed to stretch the field vertically, if necessary, and has solid route-running ability to separate from defenders.
Given some of his inconsistencies in run-blocking and lack of acceleration, he lacks that top-end athleticism to push him into the first-round conversation. However, if the Falcons haven't addressed the wide receiver position through another route before picks 74 and 79, Baker could be a solid outside field-stretcher for this offense lacking any size outside of Drake London and Kyle Pitts.

🏈 Body control to contort his body to maximize catch radius
✅ Shows saavy in his route running
🏃🏾♂️ Underrated ability after the catch
📈 WR3 to high WR2 upside
