Travis Kelce has spent a lot of time entertaining people on the football field over the years with his strong performance and flamboyant personality.

He will certainly have to use a lot of the latter as he tests out his acting chops over the weekend.

Kelce is hosting NBC's long-running sketch comedy show "Saturday Night Live" on March 4. The Super Bowl 57 champion will become the 34th athlete to host the event and the first to do so since J.J. Watt was bestowed the honor on Feb. 1, 2020.

Kelce is already off to a good start as he looks to prove himself on camera.

"Saturday Night Live" released a trailer for Kelce's episode on Wednesday. The minute-long skit features the Chiefs tight end performing in an "Indiana Jones" parody that sees him trying to exchange the "SNL" logo with the Lombardi Trophy.

Below is a look at Kelce's performance in the sketch, which features a few SNL comedians (and most prominently, Marcello Hernández).

That's not bad at all from Kelce. To nobody's surprise, he brought energy to the re-creation of the "Raiders of the Lost Ark" scene and seemed willing to laugh at himself a bit.

If Kelce can continue to do that, there's a chance that he could create one of the best athlete-included SNL sketches of all time.

We'll soon see if SNL has any other Kelce parodies and previews in store for its viewers. If not, Chiefs fans will have to wait to see Kelce in action live from New York on Saturday night.
