Fans and front offices will have to wait a bit longer to get another glimpse of Travis Hunter on the field ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft.
The Heisman Trophy winner had been expected to work out at the annual scouting combine in Indianapolis this week but will instead join Colorado teammate Shedeur Sanders and other high-profile prospects in waiting for their pro days to do on-field drills.
Hunter will still interview with various teams at the combine and met with the media Thursday, saying he intends to continue playing offense and defense at the next level. The NFL had listed him as a cornerback on the combine roster, but he told CBS Sports he intends to do defensive back and receiver drills at his pro day in a few weeks.
Here is everything you need to know about watching NFL combine workouts and Hunter's pro day.

Travis Hunter 40-yard dash time
Hunter will likely have one of the fastest 40-yard dash times of this draft class. He registered a 40-yard dash time of 4.2 seconds at Collins Hill High School in Suwanee, Ga., according to MaxPreps.
Last year, Xavier Worthy set a new combine record at 4.21 seconds, beating John Ross' mark of 4.22 seconds.
Travis Hunter NFL mock draft projection
The Sporting News' Vinnie Iyer projects the Browns to select Hunter with the No. 2 overall pick in his latest mock draft. Here is Iyer's breakdown:
The Browns also will be on the radar for a QB, but they also need a force in the back end of their defense should Carter not fall to them to potentially replace an unhappy Myles Garrett. Hunter is a unique, big-play shutdown talent who can also help the offense on occasional snaps.
Iyer believes the Titans will select Penn State defensive end Abdul Carter at No. 1 overall.
