Tony Jefferson's already tough season took an even worse turn Sunday.
The Ravens safety tore his ACL in the team's 26-23 overtime win over the Steelers and is expected to miss the rest of the season, coach John Harbaugh told reporters after the game.
"He has a knee, so he’s done," Harbaugh said. "He at least has an ACL and probably more, so he’ll be out for the season as it stands right now."
Jefferson, who has only missed seven games in his seven-year career, suffered the injury in the fourth quarter and had to be carted off the field. He had one tackle before exiting the game.

It's just the latest blow to the Ravens defense after Baltimore lost Tavon Young (neck) for the season. The team has also been without cornerback Jimmy Smith (knee) for four games.
The Ravens (3-2) are next slated to host the AFC North rival Bengals (0-5) in Week 6 action.
