The Patriot Way: Do your job, say very little and avoid controversy. Tom Brady followed the team's instruction manual Friday morning when he spoke to reporters publicly for the first time since ending his Deflategate appeal.

If you were expecting Brady to come out guns blazing and blast Roger Goodell for abusing his powers, you're going to be disappointed. He had an opportunity when the media asked him if felt any anger towards "the powers that be," but the quarterback didn't bite.

"I’m pretty much the same," Brady told reporters. "I’ve been the same way for a long time."

He did admit the case has been "personal" to him, but he's ready to move on from all of it.

"I try to focus on the positive, being here with my teammates and getting better," he said. "You don’t want to go out and do anything but be a great example for your teammates.”

Judging from the training camp stats, Brady couldn't have set a better example on the field. He finished his 11-on-11 practice session completing 25 of 25 passes for four touchdowns.
