Adrianne Haslet-Davis lost her left leg in the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings. Monday, three years after the tragic attack, Haslet-Dais ran the 120th Boston Marathon with a prosthetic leg and one her biggest fans, Tom Brady, in attendance.

“Two years ago, I was lucky enough to meet Adrianne Haslet, a survivor of the 2013 Marathon bombings,” Brady wrote on Facebook Monday. “She’s on the course now, running the race for the first time — with a prosthetic leg. Adrianne thank you for being my inspiration!! #BostonStrong.”

Haslet-Davis, who crossed the finish line roughly 10 hours after starting the race to support Limbs for Life, also threw out the first pitch at the Red Sox game April 15 — the three-year anniversary of the bombings.
