The No. 10 pick in this year's draft didn’t play during the preseason and sat out the Rams’ thrilling Week 1 win over the Seahawks. Gurley has been recovering from a torn ACL that ended his final season at Georgia last November.
Tre Mason, the Rams' leading rusher in all 12 games he played as a rookie last season, was also sidelined for last week's season opener. He is listed as questionable Sunday.
Both Gurley and Mason were full participants in two consecutive practices this week, indicating they could be ready to finally take the field in Washington.
Benny Cunningham filled in for both Gurley and Mason last week, carrying the ball 16 times for 45 yards and adding four receptions for 77 yards. He could head the backfield once again if neither get the green light to play.
