David Quessenberry beat cancer, and now he is beating defenses.

Quessenberry is more than a late-round success story in the NFL. In 2013, the Texans drafted him in the sixth round of the NFL Draft. In June 2014, he was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins' Lymphoma, and he beat the cancer in 2015.

A few seasons and a new team later, Quessenberry once again defied the odds — albeit much lesser odds — by scoring his first NFL touchdown.

Touchdowns are hard to come by, but touchdowns to offensive lineman? It's like watching a unicorn playing chess with Bigfoot.

It's been an odyssey of a career for Quessenberry. After being drafted, he dealt with a foot injury that left him on injured reserve for his rookie season. After being waived several times, including once due to his Lymphoma diagnosis, Quessenberry made his NFL debut on Christmas Day in 2017 vs. the Steelers.

Quessenberry was waived again by the Texans in 2018, and almost a year ago to the day, Quessenberry was signed to the Titans' practice squad. He eventually signed a reserve/future contract with Tennessee in December, and on Sunday made just his fourth appearance in an NFL game since 2013. This time, it was much sweeter.

His brother, Scott, was drafted by the Chargers in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Way to go, David.
