Let's face it: the first "Thursday Night Football" game of the year was boring. With a final score of 10-3, there was hardly any time for the celebration of points between Packers and Bears.
However, with the Buccaneers and Panthers both coming off games in which they each scored at least 17 and allowed at least 30 points, there figures to be some more fireworks in this week's matchup to kick off the NFL's Week 2 schedule.
Neither team came away with a win in their respective Sunday Week 1 matchups, however. The Panthers lost narrowly to the Rams 30-27 while the Buccaneers lost by two touchdowns to the 49ers in a 31-17 final score.
Below is all the info you need to watch "Thursday Night Football" in Week 2, including the kickoff time, TV channel and a full TNF schedule for 2019.

Who plays on Thursday Night Football tonight?
Both the Buccaneers and Panthers have reasons for their fanbases to be excited for this matchup. Christian McCaffrey shined yet again for Carolina, showing off his versatility with 19 carries for 128 yards and two touchdowns while also taking 10 receptions 81 yards. On the other side, Chris Godwin put together a respectable game with three catches for 53 yards and a touchdown while Ronald Jones carried the ball 13 times for 75 yards.
Though there were bright sides to each team, the play of the quarterbacks will both need to improve. The two former Heisman Trophy and BCS national championship-winning quarterbacks did not kick off 2019 on a high note, with Jameis Winston throwing three interceptions to only one touchdown pass and completing just 20 of 36 passing attempts for 194 yards. Cam Newton might have been worse, completing 25 of 38 passes for an interception and no touchdowns while losing a fumble. He only rushed three times for a loss of two yards.
According to Sportsbook Review, Carolina will enter the game as touchdown favorites against visiting Tampa Bay.
