The NFL's 272-game regular season has come to a close. There are now just 12 games left to play before the Super Bowl decides the league champion.
All of the games remaining on the calendar are important. Each is a win-or-go-home contest, so fans won't want to miss a minute of the do-or-die action.
Of course, others are just excited to know exactly when each game will air. Fans tend to get into a particular cadence during the 18-week NFL season, but that is always disrupted in the first game of the postseason.
The most notable disruption is all about "Thursday Night Football." While the program was a staple of the 2023 NFL season, its absence in the postseason is notable, but it's likely one that will be permanent.
Here's everything you need to know about "TNF" for the 2024 playoffs and what you can watch with the program finished for the season.

Is there a 'Thursday Night Football' game tonight?
No, there is not a "Thursday Night Football" game on Jan. 11. There will be no Thursday night games for the rest of the NFL season, as all 2023 NFL playoff games will take place on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
The final "Thursday Night Football" game of the 2023 NFL season aired in Week 17 when the Browns beat the Jets 37-20 in a dominant display from Joe Flacco. That helped Cleveland clinch a playoff berth and capped off the second season of "TNF" on Amazon Prime Video.
"TNF" will officially return to Amazon Prime for a third season in 2024. Al Michaels and Kirk Herbstreit will call their first game of the season in Week 2, as NBC maintains the right to broadcast a "Sunday Night Football" contest on the opening Thursday of the NFL season.
While "Thursday Night Football" is over for now, there is still a "Monday Night Football" game to be played. The Eagles and Buccaneers will square off on Monday on ESPN, which has hosted a Monday night wild-card game since 2022.
While "MNF" got that treatment, there is no expectation that "TNF" will at this point. It isn't feasible given the way the NFL's playoff schedule operates, as at least one team would likely have a rest disadvantage in the contest.
