Everything's bigger in Texas meets the Big Apple. In a battle for size supremacy, the Giants host the Cowboys in the swamps of northern New Jersey in an NFC East clash. These games haven't been the easiest on the eyes throughout history, which makes the swamps a fitting site for this game. Both teams enter with playoff expectations at least, trying to build off successful regular season campaigns in 2022.
With that in mind, we'll try to capitalize on a battle of the bigs and earn some big money in the process. Our FanDuel lineup should have plenty of chances to be profitable thanks to some players with no shortage of workload. Will the new-look Cowboys offense run this town or can year-two of Brian Daboll's Giants see them take a giant leap forward?
Before we break down our picks and strategy, here are the most notable scoring rules for FanDuel contests: four-point passing TDs and half-point PPR.

Cowboys-Giants FanDuel Picks Week 1: NFL DFS lineup for GPP tournaments
Cowboys-Giants Week 1 SNF, $60,000 budget
MVP (1.5x points) RB Tony Pollard, Cowboys ($13,500). Pollard assumes the role of RB1 and finds himself as a huge threat in the Cowboys' offense, one that will keep opposing defensive coordinators up at night. He wasn't much of a receiving threat against the Giants in 2022, instead rushing for 165 yards on 31 carries over the two games. But we expect that to change this time around being the clear top option in the backfield. Pollard should not only find the end zone at one point on Sunday night, but also wreak havoc on a defense that will be dialing up blitzes all game long.
FLEX QB Daniel Jones, Giants ($16,500). Jones earned a new lucrative contract extension based off his work in 2022, one that pays him $40 million a year on average. While his receivers aren't stars by any means, that shouldn't matter too much for a quarterback that likes to be on the run. Jones rushed for 93 yards across the two games last season, averaging 46.5 per game. Since he's always a threat to run, we can't rule out Jones punching it into the end zone himself for a score. If Darren Waller plays, that only boosts Jones' chances of having a good night. Because of that dual-threat ability, he cracks the lineup.
FLEX WR Isaiah Hodgins, Giants ($11,000). Hodgins was an unknown last season until the team claimed him on waivers in November. The 24-year-old impressed with his opportunity, totaling 392 receiving yards and four touchdowns in 10 games. Those touchdowns came in four of the last five games in the regular season, indicating Hodgins' hot streak down the stretch. He's arguably the team's best receiver and would be upgraded even more if Waller sits out in the opener. Despite likely drawing a matchup against Trevon Diggs, Hodgins should find some production regardless in a creative Giants' offense.
FLEX WR Brandin Cooks, Cowboys ($10,500). After a year without a true No. 2 receiver, the Cowboys went to the trade market in search of some reinforcements. Cooks has been a steady receiving option in the league and despite the narrative that he's often-injured, the reality is that Cooks has only missed 8-of-66 games over the last four seasons. With that in mind, Dallas has found themselves with a solid option behind CeeDee Lamb. The Giants, when they aren't bringing pressure, will try to slow down Lamb. And that is right in Cooks' kitchen for a big night.
FLEX K Graham Gano ($8,500). We know the Cowboys have a good defense. The Giants offense doesn't have the big stars and the combination between the two means that field goals are inevitable. Gano is one of the best in the business, who should shine when given the chance to kick. He's been one of the most consistent Giants since joining the team in 2020 and earned a new extension. Expect him to put together another good performance on Sunday night.
Best SuperDraft Cowboys-Giants DFS Picks
This year, we're also listing our favorite single-game DFS plays on SuperDraft.
For those unfamiliar, SuperDraft's DFS scoring involves point multipliers as opposed to traditional salary-capped or tiered contests. A winning lineup will likely feature a strong mix of stud fantasy contributors with 1x-1.6x boosts, as well as matchup-based sleepers with larger multipliers. Each player is assigned a scoring multiplier based on their value as determined by SuperDraft. Users can roster any player in their lineup with no restrictions.

For the capper to Sunday's NFL action, we are going with the chalky options for our SuperDraft lineup. Since there is no salary cap, we like both running backs, Pollard and Barkley, to have big games. Then we'll target some of the supporting casts with Campbell, Cooks and Ferguson to round out the lineup.
