It's been a rough month for Texans coach/GM Bill O'Brien, who has struggled to contain the backlash that has followed his trade of wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins to Arizona.

His 2020 NFL Draft experience seems to be an extension of his frustrations. He's fed up with the world.

O'Brien could be seen shouting at the phone in his home office on NFL Network's telecast before walking off the screen. His son Michael sat quietly next to him, unsure of what to do.

He was apparently angry at the Lions for backing out of a potential trade that would have moved Detroit up to No. 90 and presumably given Houston several picks later in the draft. The Texans, forced to make a quick decision, picked pass rusher Jonathan Greenard at No. 90.

Lions general manager Bob Quinn disputed a deal was agreed upon.

The Texans have focused on defense so far in the draft, taking Greenard and defensive tackle Ross Blacklock with their first two selections.

Earlier in the offseason, Houston sent Hopkins to the Cardinals for draft picks and acquired Brandin Cooks via trade and Randall Cobb via free agency.

O'Brien has gone 52-44 as an NFL head coach.
