The Tennessee Titans reported for training camp on Tuesday, with the team slated to take part in its first practice on Wednesday. Before that, head coach Brian Callahan addressed the media and provided injury updates on several players.
The most shocking update was about punter Ryan Stonehouse, who Callahan said is "ready to roll" going into training camp. That's surprising because Stonehouse is just seven months removed from suffering serious knee and leg injuries.
Also on the positive side of things, defensive lineman T'Vondre Sweat is good to go, Callahan revealed. The rookie lineman missed all of the offseason program with an undisclosed injury, which will have him playing catch up.
Nevertheless, it's good to see the rookie is healthy.
No injury designation for @Titans punter Ryan Stonehouse to start training camp. He's felt good, Callahan said. "He's ready to roll."

On the other side of the spectrum, right tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere (knee) and wide receiver Colton Dowell (knee) will start camp on the physically unable to perform list. Both players sat out the offseason program.
It was initially thought NPF was still recovering from a shoulder injury that ended his 2023 season early, but Callahan said Petit-Frere was actually recovering from an offseason clean-up procedure on his knee. Callahan also noted that Petit-Frere won't need a long stay on the list.
Brian Callahan said Colton Dowell will open camp on PUP. Nicholas Petit-Frere will open on active PUP and is expected to be good to go soon. Callahan added that NPF had a clean up on his knee recently. #Titans

Last but not least, Callahan said the Titans will keep cornerback L'Jarius Sneed on a "separate management plan" similar to the one he had with the Kansas City Chiefs because it seemed to work there.
