The Tuesday cutdown deadline came and went and the Tennessee Titans have officially trimmed their roster down to 52 — that's right, 52.
The Titans are one short on their 53-man roster, but that's likely because they are keeping a spot open for linebacker Ernest Jones, who was reportedly acquired in a trade with the Los Angeles Rams on Tuesday.
The Titans have yet to make the Jones trade official, but that will likely happen in the next day or so. You can read more of our thoughts on that deal right here.
The Titans have set their initial 53-man roster, but they will definitely make some changes between now and Week 1. They also still have to put together their practice squad.
For now, here's a look at the Titans' initial 53-man roster, and then the biggest surprises from it.

Tennessee Titans 53-man roster surprises
Five tight ends (and Thomas Odukoya)
Teams typically carry three or four tight ends, but the Titans have a total of five, which wouldn't have been as surprising in the Mike Vrabel era. We also weren't expecting Odukoya to be kept, but the other four were expected.
Only 4 defensive linemen
The Titans were already extremely thin along the defensive line, and while their options weren't great, it was assumed they'd at least carry five. TK McLendon was placed on injured reserve, but the Titans also had Quinton Bohanna and undrafted free agent Isaiah Iton. Tennessee will definitely add at least one to this group.
Caleb Murphy makes the cut
We didn't hear a ton from Murphy this offseason, but clearly he did enough to make the cut. He'll be hard-pressed to have any semblance of role on defense, and he could be a casualty when the Titans eventually make moves to shore up spots.
Seven linebackers
The Titans have yet to officially announce their reported trade for Jones, so technically they only have six linebackers on their initial 53-man roster. However, they also only have 52 players on the roster, so there is a space left for their recent addition. Perhaps the Titans change course when they make the trade official, but for now it looks like they'll have seven linebackers.
Only 4 cornerbacks
We figured at least one of Tre Avery, Eric Garror, Caleb Farley or Gabe Jeudy-Lally would make the cut, but none of them did and instead the Titans only have four cornerbacks. That is not going to last.
Mike Brown makes the cut
With an impressive group featuring Amani Hooker, Quandre Diggs, Jamal Adams and Elijah Molden, it's surprising to see a fifth at safety. It's very possible the Titans are keeping Brown until Molden is cleared from his concussion.
