Is Taylor Swift at the Chiefs vs. Saints game today? Updates on if star is watching Travis Kelce in NFL Week 5

The Kansas City Chiefs have a long road to winning their third Super Bowl in a row, but beginning the season 4-0 is certainly a good start. The Chiefs were expected to be tested early on with games against the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals, but they are finding ways to win. 

After back-to-back home games to start the season, Kansas City has been on the road. While the team wasn't playing in familiar places, they are also playing without a familiar face in the crowd.

Music superstar Taylor Swift has not attended either of the Chiefs' previous two games. This has spurned speculation that the entertainment power couple had called it quits, especially after a breakup contract had seemingly leaked in early September. This was called "entirely false and fabricated" by Kelce's team.

Still, Swift has been a no-show at the two road games. The easy answer is that she is sticking to home games where it is easier to deal with security. Sources close to the situation have said that it is easier to work with Arrowhead staff who understand her heightened security needs after having to cancel shows in Vienna. Swift is also starting rehearsals back up for the continuation of her Eras Tour later this month. 

Kansas City host the New Orleans Saints in Week 5 for "Monday Night Football" ahead of a Week 6 bye and two road games. If Swift is going to see Kelce play before going back on tour, this will likely be the best opportunity.

When asked about the situation Sunday, Kelce appeared to confirm Swift will be at Monday night's game.

Swift was spotted boarding a golf cart around 45 minutes before kickoff outside Arrowhead. Shortly after, she walked into the stadium through the tunnel, likely to her box with Brittany Mahomes, quarterback Patrick Mahomes' wife and Swift's good friend.

Jason Kelce, Travis' brother, spoke about the tight end's commitment to football on ESPN's pregame show, which has been questioned as of late with his slow start this season. Swift was shown in a split screen with Jason briefly while he spoke about his sibling.

One of Swift's backup dancers from the Era's Tour, Kam Saunders, is brothers with Khalen Saunders, the Saints DT. New Orleans posted a photo of the two of them embracing before the game tonight, meaning Kam is likely to link up with the pop-star.

Swift is wearing knee-high black heeled boots paired with what appears to be a red and gray plaid off-the-shoulder dress. She is also toting a small brown bag with a design on it and a gold chain strap.

Upon closer inspection of Swift's makeup look, it seems as if she's wearing red and silver sparkles across her face along with spaceship earrings, likely in reference to her song "Down Bad" that feature's a UFO projection during it's Eras Tour performance by the singer.

Taylor Swift Eras Tour schedule 2024

Unless she adds more dates, the U.S. leg of Swift's Eras Tour will wrap in early November. Swift then has a handful of international dates left before the tour ends in December.
