Tarvaris Jackson, ex-QB, out on $2,500 bond after allegedly threatening wife with gun image

Former Seahawks quarterback Tarvaris Jackson is now out on bond after he threatened to kill his wife, Orlando's  WESH Channel 2  reported.

Jackson posted a $2,500 bond and was released from a Kissimmee, Fla., jail on Friday. He has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Jackson, who is currently a free agent, was reportedly drunk when he allegedly brandished a handgun, pointed it at his wife and told her, "I'll kill you."

The couple was at the Regal Oaks Resort visiting family and friends when the incident happened. Several children were asleep inside the residence.

Jackson's wife grabbed a knife and iron to protect herself before another person came in and separated the couple. She also reportedly told Jackson, “You better be accurate because you ain’t accurate on the field.”

There has reportedly been past domestic disputes between Jackson and his wife.

In nine NFL seasons, the 33-year-old quarterback has 7,263 passing yards, with 39 touchdowns and 35 interceptions.
