There's only one side of the Super Bowl that players want to be on: The winning side.

Of course, that's mostly to do with getting to hoist the Lombardi Trophy, don a Super Bowl ring and have eternal glory as someone who can claim to be a Super Bowl champion. But there's a nice financial incentive, too. When the Buccaneers take on the Chiefs in Super Bowl 55, the winners' share will be twice as much as the losers' share.

Individual players often have their own bonuses associated with winning the Super Bowl, too. In 2021, that includes Tampa Bay quarterback Tom Brady.

Here's more of what you need to know about the money being made on the field during Super Bowl 55.

The Buccaneers signed Brown to an incentive-laden contract midway through the season. He was injured and didn't play in the NFC title game, but he's expected back for the Super Bowl.

The veteran receiver can make $750,000 if the Buccaneers win the Super Bowl. To earn the bonus, he'll have to play 35 percent of the snaps on Feb. 7, which is well below his season average for snaps played. Brown could go home with a hefty payday for a single day's work.
