If Kansas City is a shoo-in for the AFC Championship game, could the winner of Pittsburgh and Tennessee be the conference's best contender?
Of the three remaining undefeated teams, the Steelers (5-0) have arguably had the easiest schedule to navigate with their opponents having a combined record of 9-19-1. With that being said, Pittsburgh dominated Cleveland in 38-7 fashion last week as rookie receiver Chase Claypool continues to excel in Year 1. He followed up his four-touchdown performance in Week 5 with another rushing touchdown and a team-high 74 receiving yards against the Browns.
Tennessee (5-0) welcomes Pittsburgh to Nashville after narrowly escaping Houston last week in overtime, the second game back for the Titans since their COVID-19 shutdown. Derrick Henry has picked up right where he left off in 2019, continuing to thrash defenses for huge gains. Henry leads the NFL in rushing yards, rushing attempts and has the season-long carry of 94 yards. Last week the bell-cow back rushed for 212 yards and two scores.
Pittsburgh and Tennessee were originally slated to meet in Week 4 but had to be rescheduled to accommodate coronavirus protocol. Things don't get any easier next week for Pittsburgh as the travel to the 5-1 Ravens.
