The 49ers (8-0) go into their "Monday Night Football" matchup (8:15 p.m. ET, ESPN) against the Seahawks (7-2) as the only undefeated left in the NFC and entire NFL. But they need to keep winning to feel great about their chances to win the NFC West.

San Francisco will either see its first-place cushion over Seattle go up to 2.5 games with a head-to-head tiebreaker or see it shrink down to a half-game. The 49ers have won every game with an average margin of victory close to 17 points. The Seahawks have needed all of their average scoring of 27.6 points per game because they are giving up 25.6 points per game.

Here's everything to know about betting on Seahawks vs. 49ers in Week 10, including updated odds, trends and our expert's prediction for "Monday Night Football."

Seahawks vs. 49ers odds for 'Monday Night Football'

The 49ers are well rested from playing Thursday night in Week 9 against the Cardinals. The Seahawks had to go overtime to defeat the Buccaneers at home last Sunday. The 49ers are getting a field goal over the typical home-field advantage line.

Seahawks vs. 49ers all-time series

The Seahawks lead the series 25-16. Before the 49ers won in San Francisco last December, Seattle had won 10 straight and 12 out of the previous 13 meetings. The last time the 49ers swept the Seahawks was 2011, a season in which they advanced to the Super Bowl.

Three trends to know

— 69 percent of moneyline bettors like the Seahawks to upset the 49ers on the road. 52 percent of spread bettors also like the Seahawks.

— 69 percent of bettors like the game to go over the point total, tied to potent offenses led by quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Jimmy Garoppolo.

— The 49ers have failed to cover in only three of their eight wins, but two of those games have come in the past three weeks against the Cardinals and Redskins. Both of those games, however, were on the road.

Three things to watch

No George Kittle

The 49ers' elite tight end, arguably the best in the game, will not suit up with his ankle and knee injuries. The Seahawks can be exploited well in the middle of the field by tight ends, so don't expect the 49ers to go away from that game plan, especially with the confidence they have in backup Ross Dwelley. The primary coverage concern for Seattle now becomes wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders, trying to stay hot in his third game for San Francisco.

Yes Josh Gordon?

The Seahawks claimed Gordon off waivers from the Patriots before Week 9, and he's trending to play in Week 10 after practicing in full in Friday with his ankle injury and carrying no designation into the game. Coach Pete Carroll, however, calls the wide receiver a game-time decision to be active, tied to the comfort level he has in the new offense and with Wilson. Seattle needs Gordon in this tough matchup and he can be a difference-maker right away.

Not as good as Gould

The 49ers also will be without kicker Robbie Gould, with Chase McLaughlin, who filled in well for the Chargers when Michael Badgley was out, taking over the field-goal duties. On the other side, the Seahawks saw Jason Myers struggle last week. If this comes down to three points making the difference, this situation is something that can affect the outcome of the game.

Stat that matters

Wilson is 11-3 in his career against the 49ers. He has a 99.2 passer rating against them at nearly 8 yards per passing attempt. He also has 281 yards rushing against them and 24 combined touchdowns. He should play well despite San Francisco's strong defensive resume.

Seahawks vs. 49ers prediction

The Seahawks can bring more firepower than the Cardinals with Wilson, with Gordon being gravy over wide receivers Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf. The 49ers are sizzling throwing the ball with Garoppolo, too, and their matchup is exceptional. Jimmy G leads the Niners late to be a little more dangerous than Danger Russ.

49ers 31, Seahawks 27
