If there's a better fourth wide receiver in the NFL than Jake Bobo we aren't familiar with him. The Seattle Seahawks signed Bobo as an undrafted free agent last year out of UCLA and he very quickly became a fan favorite thanks to an outstanding performance during the team's three preseason games. That landed him a spot on the initial 53-man roster and he did not disappoint.
Bobo went on to make a bunch of key plays for Seattle as a rookie despite seeing limited playing time (he was only on the field for 29% of the team's offensive snaps). He finished the 2023 season with 19 catches, 196 receiving yards and three touchdowns from scrimmage. The team went 3-0 when he scored.
It appears that Bobo has picked up where he left off. Even though the defense reportedly dominated the offense during yesterday's padded practice, the play of the day was this spectacular diving touchdown catch by Bobo on a pass from Sam Howell.

Bobo's success is a very pleasant surprise considering his poor athletic testing. His RAS score was just 2.61 out of 10, including an atrocious 4.99 second 40-yard dash time. It just goes to show that there's more to winning at this level than how fast you are.
