Seahawks mascot gets locked out of facility after April Fools Day joke image

Every year, April Fools Day brings out the best and worst in people, and in this case, mascots. Seattle Seahawks Blitz the Seahawk quit on Monday as an April Fools Day prank.

It's a classic joke to do on April Fools Day saying you are leaving your place of employment or fanhood. There are other ways to maximize the comedy and the team did one better. On Tuesday, the day after April Fools Day, the organization revoked his credentials and locked Blitz out of the team facility.

Not everything joke is perfect, but this was close to it. Well played by the Seahawks.
