In the words of the great Michael Scott, "Oh, how the turntables."

The Seahawks spoiled the Lions' home opener on Sunday with a 37-31 overtime victory in Detroit. Geno Smith found Tyler Lockett for a six-yard touchdown in the extra frame to pick up Seattle's first win of the year and also hand Detroit its first loss of the campaign.

Ford Field was packed for the first home game of the season, as the Detroit faithful showed out for Dan Campbell's crew. For those who saw the crowd in Motor City, a sea of blue ski masks could be seen all around the stadium, thanks to a plea earlier in the week from Lions cornerback C.J. Gardner-Johnson.

By the end of the game, the masks had been replaced with faces of defeat.

However, there was one notable person wearing a ski mask after the game. He just wasn't a member of the Lions — or one of their fans.

Instead, it was Seahawks safety Jerrick Reed II who somehow got his hands on a blue ski mask and didn't waste the opportunity to troll the opposition after the team's win.

The sixth-round pick in this year's draft left the field with the knitted mask on his face. He then showed off his new clothing accessory in an Instagram post as the Seahawks celebrated the win.

The ski masks are a new feature in Motor City. Gardner-Johnson challenged the Detroit faithful to bring a ski mask to the game Sunday to back up the "villain" mantra that the Lions were going for.

If you gone have a ski mask Sunday quote this 😈

Lions DB C.J. Gardner Johnson said he wants to see blue ski masks everywhere for the Lions home opener on Sunday.

The Lions fans responded and blue ski masks have SOLD OUT on Amazon 😳

"From what I’ve seen, we got probably the most ruthless fans in the game," Gardner-Johnson said about the reason behind the ski masks. "From talking crap, they feed off of us. They yelled the loudest (last week), and that was a home game for KC ... You're gonna see on Sunday. Blue ski masks everywhere.

"We villains, right? It's part of us, it’s just the culture, I’m changing it. We taking what's ours."

Turns out, the only thing the Lions were taking on Sunday were L's, both on and off the field.
