There is just one game on the NFL preseason slate today, and that is a matchup between the Saints and the Chargers.
Both New Orleans and Los Angeles enter Week 2 of the preseason coming off victories in Week 1, and looking to remain perfect on the exhibition schedule.
The Saints took down the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs last week 26-24, thanks to a last-second field goal from rookie kicker Blake Grupe. The star of the game was wide receiver A.T. Perry, as the rookie from Wake Forest brought in six catches for 70 yards and a touchdown, pacing all Saints receivers.
Meanwhile, the Chargers beat their cross-town rival Rams 34-17 in Week 1 of the preseason. Quarterback Easton Stick threw for 109 yards and a touchdown, but it was running back Elijah Dotson who made the most noise for L.A., rumbling on the ground for 92 yards and two touchdowns on just six carries.
