The NFC South has been the weakest division in the NFL this season, but someone's got to win it. The Week 13 offering of "Monday Night Football" sees two of the division's two most recent champions go head-to-head with the 2022 crown very much up for grabs.

This Monday, the Saints (4-8) have an opportunity to make up ground in the standings when they visit the division-leading Buccaneers (5-6) in the latest installment of the NFL's most intense rivalries. And while New Orleans' record leaves much to be desired, it's only one game behind Tampa Bay in the win column.

The Saints enter the week after suffering a confounding shutout loss at the hands of the 49ers. New Orleans, which had not been held scoreless since 2001, had two empty trips in goal-to-go situations, including a possession that ended with an Alvin Kamara fumble at the one-yard line. Despite the team's offensive struggles, all signs indicate that the Saints will continue to roll with starting quarterback Andy Dalton, who stepped in for the injured Jameis Winston in Week 4 and has kept the job despite Winston returning to full health.

Tampa Bay is looking to bounce back from a tough overtime loss to Cleveland in Week 12. The Buccaneers led 17-10 for the majority of the fourth quarter before the Browns tied things up with a miraculous touchdown late in regulation. Tom Brady and company even got two cracks at scoring in overtime but both possessions ended in punts, making way for the Browns' game-winning drive that ended with a rushing touchdown.

While the Buccaneers entered the season favored to win the division, they haven't consistently looked the part of a playoff team. Monday night provides Tampa with an opportunity to earn a season sweep of New Orleans to maintain its hold on the division lead while the Saints, who don't have a first-round pick to tank for, need to go all-out to win and remain in the playoff hunt. Expect nothing less than a physical battle.
