Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill was urinating blood late last week, according to the Miami Herald.
The report states "the cause and severity of the condition was not known," but it's never a good sign when your starting quarterback has blood in his urine, in any capacity. Speculation as to what caused blood to appear in his urine can be directed toward the beating Tannehill has taken this season.

Per the Herald, Tannehill has been sacked more times (183) than any NFL quarterback since 2012. According to NFL.com's stats, the Dolphins have allowed the sixth-most sacks (44) and fourth-most QB hits (104). Despite all of the beatings Tannehill has been put through, he still made his 63rd consecutive start Sunday against the Colts.
“I don’t like getting hit," he said, via the Herald. "That’s where we’re at right now. We’ll have to find a way to protect and get the ball out.”
