Russell Wilson is dealing with a reported MCL sprain, but the Seahawks quarterback was in good spirits on Twitter late Sunday.
God is Good! #Grateful 🙏🏾

What does the tweet mean? Did Wilson receive good news about his injury? Some websites interpreted it that way, but there's no way to know for sure. Wilson often tweets stuff like this, so don't jump to conclusions.

What we do know is Wilson felt like he could come back into the game on Sunday and, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, expects to start next week.
We don't doubt Wilson wants to play, but after watching his knee bend backwards, it seems like it'd be in Seattle's best interest to let him rest.
It's worth mentioning that Wilson is dealing with a lingering right ankle injury in addition to the newly sprained MCL. Players often can play through MCL sprains, as it's a pretty common injury in the NFL. But when you pair it with the ankle, it will be difficult for Wilson to be at his best.
