Ciara wants Future to stop threatening Seahawks' Russell Wilson, report says image

On his latest mixtape project with DJ Esco, Future rapped, "Tryna f— my baby mama, dog what’s up with? You gon’ make me get that heat, I’m pulling up on you."

Many viewed it as a shot towards Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, who is dating Future's "baby mama" Ciara. In fact, the Super Bowl winning QB is engaged to the singer, and has been the target of various threats by the rapper. The threats became so common that Ciara filed a defamation lawsuit against Future.

According to TMZ, Future's recent rap lyrics have been added as legal documents to the case, and Ciara is legitimately fearful for Wilson's safety. Per TMZ, she says Future's actions are "frightening" and "socially irresponsible ... where there has been a recent rash of gun violence."

TMZ also points out Ciara was concerned about something Future allegedly posted to social media, which involved gun emojis pointing towards football emojis and was viewed as a threat towards Wilson. This was posted in 2015, and Future discussed the emoji incident in an interview with The Breakfast Club.

"Nah, I didn’t do that," he said about posting the emojis. "They thought I did that. [Seeing him with my kid,] it will make you feel a way but not to the point where I’m putting emojis on a Facebook. It was a fake Facebook page. They put it on media. She even thought it was real! She got lawyers start calling about that. It got serious for something I wouldn’t even do.”
