Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski joined Paul McCartney on stage for a rendition of “Helter Skelter” the former Beatle performed during his encore Sunday night at Fenway Park.

For the uninitiated, that is Bob Weir, formerly of the Grateful Dead, playing rhythm guitar next to McCartney.

Weir’s current band, Dead & Company — which features John Mayer in the Jerry Garcia role of vocalist and lead guitarist — played at Fenway Park on Friday and Saturday night. Per JamBase, Weir’s two-song appearance with McCartney marked the first time that members of The Beatles and Grateful Dead have shared a stage.
