Darrelle Revis said a lot without saying very much Sunday night.

Revis had an opening to talk more trash to 49ers cornerback Richard Sherman, who struggled at times to keep up with the Chiefs' speedy receivers during San Francisco's Super Bowl 54 loss. Revis teased the internet with this postgame tweet:

Revis needled Sherman after the NFC championship game, saying he was too scared to play man-to-man. Sherman responded by citing stats and trying to knock the latter stages of Revis' career.

MORE SUPER BOWL 54:

Then came Sunday in Miami Gardens, and Sherman was on the wrong end of a series of plays, beginning with this ankle-breaker by Tyreek Hill.

In the fourth quarter, Sammy Watkins blew past Revis Sherman for a big gain that set up the Chiefs' go-ahead touchdown.

Sherman was also in the frame for that score, a short reception by running back Damien Williams:

Those plays had some people serving up some late-night breakfast food:

Afterward, Sherman took ownership of his play with a few words of his own on Twitter.

Let's see whether Revis decides to raise the flame in response.
