New York Giants kicker Josh Brown described himself as "a repulsive man" and sexual "deviant" in journal entries obtained by SNY.
Brown's journals, along with personal emails and letters, were turned over to police by Brown's now ex-wife Molly. They contain disturbing confessions by Brown, who was suspended for the 2016 season opener for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy.

"I have physically, mentally, emotionally and verbally been a repulsive man," Brown wrote in one of his journal entries, adding, "I have abused my wife."
According to SNY, Brown also wrote that he had viewed himself as his wife's master.
"I have been a liar for most of my life," he wrote. "I made selfish decisions to use and abuse women starting at the age of 7 to fill this void. I objectified women and never really worried about the pain and hurt I caused them. My ability to connect emotionally to other people was zero. My empathy levels were zero.
IYER: Why haven't the Giants cut Josh Brown?
"Because I never handled these underlying issues I became an abuser and hurt Molly physically, emotionally and verbally. I viewed myself as God basically and she was my slave."
The couple had signed a "Contract for Change" in 2013 and Brown admitted to manipulating his wife with money.
"I have disregarded my step sons' feelings and they have witnessed me abusing their mother," he wrote.
Brown continued in the contract to call himself a "sexual deviant that viewed sex as a sport" and he "viewed pornography on a consistent basis to manage my desire for physical contact."
