Tim Tebow, Natalie Gulbis and Dana White will speak at next week's Republican National Convention in Cleveland, the New York Times reported.

That's a former Heisman-winning quarterback noted for his Christian advocacy and unique NFL career, a women's professional golfer and an MMA fight promoter.

The Republican convention already is being billed as one of the most anticipated and potentially surreal events in U.S. political history.

Next week's gathering at Quicken Loans Arena will be must-watch TV with Donald Trump, one of the most globally polarizing figures, expected to receive the GOP nomination to run for president. Trump has deep sports roots as the current owner of several famous golf courses and as a former USFL franchise owner.

Tom Brady, Bob Knight and Mike Ditka, previously reported to be potential speakers, are not on the list, but a prime spot is reserved for Tebow, the Florida native and former Gators QB who is still revered in the important swing state.

According to the Times, Tebow will be the first speaker on Night 4 — the same night as Trump's speech in which he'll presumably accept the nomination.
