Report: Rams' Sam Bradford tears ACL, out for the year image

St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford is out for the remainder of the season with a torn ACL, NFL.com reported. Bradford reportedly had an MRI on Sunday night, confirming the dire news for Bradford.

He was shoved by the Panthers' Mike Mitchell while going out of bounds and had to be helped to his feet before he was carted off into the locker room.

The Panthers made it worse, though, when Mitchell taunted the Rams on the sideline where Bradford lay injured.

Rams offensive lineman Harvey Dahl came and grabbed Mitchell afterward, and the Rams ended up with the penalty.

It was a horrible turn for St. Louis, which already was losing 30-15 in the fourth quarter. Bradford left the game having completed 21 of 30 passes for 255 yards and one touchdown.
